Design and Display

The Asus ROG Phone 2 looks like an elder brother of the original Asus ROG in terms of looks
and design. This time the air vents at the back are diminished and the colored highlights
have been made more subtle. The device has got darker looks than before and you can
mistake it for original ROG – no doubt in it. However, this phone is a bit bigger and heavier
than its predecessor. You get to see an in-display fingerprint sensor this time, which is pretty
fast. Not quick as OnePlus 7 Pro, still it is quick. Face recognition is responsive too and works
at odd angles with ease. On the right edge, you can see the power and volume buttons
offering good travel and tactile feel. On the left, there is an additional USB Type-C port and a
custom port. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom with a Type-C port. You

Coming to the display, the Asus ROG Phone 2 packs a 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display
which has a 120Hz refresh rate. Not only this, it supports 10-bit HDR and has max brightness
of 600nits. Excitement doesn't stop here as the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass
6 too. There are thick bezels on the top and bottom of the display which doesn't take
anything away from the display. The screen is smooth and the 120Hz refresh rate makes
scrolling breezy. No complains when it comes to displaying and no more demands too.

Under the hood, the Asus ROG Phone 2 has a Snapdragon 855+ SoC with LPDDR4X RAM,
and UFS 3.0 storage. The phone is available in two RAM and storage variants – 8GB of RAM
and 128GB of storage (Rs. 37,999) and 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage (Rs. 59,999). This
phone is a beast when it comes to performance. The apps load quickly and heavy
multitasking is handled smoothly as well. The biggest USP of it is gaming and hand down, it
is one of the best smartphones for gaming- if not the best.asus gaming phone review
The ROG Phone 2 runs Android 9 Pie with a custom skin on top of it. You don't get much
bloatware but there are some apps which can come in very handy like Asus Data Transfer
app for moving data from your old phone to the ROG Phone 2, the Armoury Crate app for
configuring the lighting effects of the logo and monitor the temperatures of the CPU and

Battery life

This ROG Phone 2 is packing a 6,000mAh impressive battery. In the battery loop test, this
device lasted for around 12 hours when the display was set to 120Hz. In real-world
scenarios, this device performed even better and can give you more than one day with ease
on a single charge. The phone supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0/3.0 and USB Power
Delivery 3.0 fast-charging standards. It is bundled with 18W charger which can charge the
device up to 50 percent in an hour and 100 percent in two.

Talking about the cameras, this phone sports a dual-camera sensor behind including a 48-
megapixel camera with an f/1.79 aperture, and a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. For
selfies, there is a 24-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. In daylight, this
smartphone took some great photos with good detailing and Colors popping out. The wide-
angle camera was weaker in comparison to the primary lens but HDR was handled well with
it. In a low lighting environment, the ROG Phone 2 struggled a bit by producing some grainy
pics. Turn on the Night Mode and the images will sharpen up. You can see the latest result from
fresh hiring.

Asus rog phone II review

The Asus ROG Phone II review is hefty hardware that works like a beast. It is the most impressive
gaming phone in the market right now, period! Yes, it is not a waterproof device and lacks
wireless charging. But, are they deal breakers at Rs. 37,999? I don't know! If you are willing
to buy a higher variant, it is too expensive TBH. Now, OnePlus 7T is one of the main
competitors of this device which comes with Android 10, a good set of cameras and a fast
90Hz display too. So, OnePlus 7T can be a good proposition if you are not a hefty fan. All
said and done, Asus ROG Phone 2 is one solid performer which will keep up with gamers for
a long time. For fulfill, your gaming nacks you some suggestions on  gaming laptop black Friday,  I hope you will help you.
